Meet Hilary.
My journey as a mother turned me inside out, upside down, and forced me to look hard in the mirror at myself. It called me into a new and more intense pursuit of wholeness and integration than I ever thought possible.
I always wanted to come to a place of peace with my life and choices as a mother, and that is where I find myself today. Not because of something I purchased, a new philosophy I learned, or a book I read. It’s because I started recognizing the still, small voice of the Spirit within.
Because I did the work to unlearn and relearn, to untangle, to peel back the layers even when they were tender, and get to the core of wholeness that had been available to me all my life, the one Christ offers. The purpose of this site is to invite you into this journey with me.
Welcome, fellow traveler. Thanks for stopping by.

I earned my B.A. in Music Business from Anderson University in 2003, and an M.A. in Practical Theology from Regent University in 2012. During my time in graduate school I also earned a certification in Life and Leadership Coaching from Lifeforming. I began writing and blogging in 2008. In 2013 I founded my company, Savvee, where I provide branding and content marketing services for companies.
I have been married to the love of my life since 2002, and we have two beautiful daughters. I recently self-published my first book The Good Enough Mother: Reimagining Motherhood and Work. I am thriving after a Lyme Disease diagnosis in 2015, and have recently begun to focus on intuitive and pro-metabolic nutrition to continue my healing journey. My current fitness obsession is lifting heavy things.
